Poker Pro Ryan Laplante Gives Speech At World Series of Poker: "I'm Proud To Call Myself An Openly Gay Man"Jun 12, 2016Today Rep Porter and Ryan Laplante were awarded their gold bracelets as the latest tournament winners at the 2016 World Series of Poker. Laplante, an openly gay 26-year-old poker pro, did not originally plan on making a speech but changed his mind after learning about the horrible mass shooting in Orlando that targeted a gay night club. After being presented his first WSOP bracelet by his fiancé Chris Katona, Laplante approached the podium and delivered a heartfelt speech which Card Player TV presents here in it’s entirety. |
