2017 WSOP: Mike Leah On Day 1 of Colossus III Jun 02, 2017 The 2017 World Series of Poker is kicking off it’s first massive weekend event of the summer, the $8 million guaranteed Colossus III. The $565 buy-in no-limit hold’em event will award $1,000,000 to the eventual champion, as well as a WSOP gold bracelet, of course. The past two Colossus events have been the two largest live poker tournament fields in history with 22374 and 21,613 entries, respectively, and another gigantic turnout is expected this year. The first of six starting flights kicked off on Friday, June 2nd. WSOP bracelet winner Mike Leah was among the thousands of players to participate, and he got off to an incredibly fast start in this event to become one of the early chip leaders. Card Player TV caught up with him to ask him for his thoughts on this unique and exciting event.
