WPT World Championship: Freddy Deeb Takes The Lead Midway Through Day 2Dec 15, 2022Midway through day 2 of the record-setting World Poker Tour World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, a number of big names are sitting on healthy stacks with their eyes on the title and the top prize of more than $4.1 million. The current top stack in the room belongs to none other than 2005 WPT Aruba Poker Classic main event champion and two-time bracelet winner Freddy Deeb. Deeb came into the day with just shy of 600,000, but now sits with more than 1.9 million in chips, thanks in large part to a huge hand he won during level 12 with a set of queens besting a set of tens for his opponent. Card Player TV caught up with him on a break to learn more. |
