On Thursday, UB announced that Prahlad “Spirit Rock” Friedman is now a Team UB Pro. Friedman’s signing comes less than a week after long-time representatives Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth parted ways with the online site.
The 32-year-old’s career highlights include a win at the 2009 World Poker Tour Legends of Poker for $1,009,000, a bracelet in a 2003 World Series of Poker pot-limit hold’em event, and a 20th-place finish in the 2006 WSOP main event for a score of $494,797. Altogether, Friedman has more than $2.5 million in career tournament earnings.
The California native is also one of the most feared cash game players in the world, grinding as high as $200-$400 online.
