World Championship Of Online Poker Begins TomorrowTomorrow Sees Start Of WCOOP; $30 Million Guaranteed Across 62 Events |

The 2011 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker hits computer screens tomorrow and will see poker lovers from all over the world compete for a total of $30 million in guaranteed prize pools across 62 events in 23 action-packed days.
Event no. 1, a $215 no-limit hold’em six-max tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million kick-starts the WCOOP tomorrow, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m., and the festival of online events will continue until it reaches its peak on Sept. 25 and 26 with the Championship’s highlight, the two-day, $5,200 no-limit hold’em main event. This year’s main event will award at least $5 million, including a guaranteed $1 million for first place.
There are several other events throughout the 23 days which see a prize pool of more than $1 million including two events on Sept. 11, the $215 no-limit hold’em at 10 a.m. guaranteeing $1,250,000 and the $530 no-limit hold’em at 2 p.m. guaranteeing $1.5 million; the $1,050 no-limit hold’em event on Sept. 18 guaranteeing $1.5 million, the $215 no-limit hold’em on Sept. 25 which is offering at least $1,250,000, and another event taking place tomorrow (at 12 p.m.), a $10,300 no-limit hold’em high roller, which has $1,250,000 guaranteed.
There are many different games with various buy-ins to suit all poker interests and bankrolls. For instance on Sept. 6 there is a three-course poker platter serving up a $215 pot-limit draw event at 11 a.m., followed by a $215 triple stud event at 2 p.m., and the cherry on the cake, a $1,050 no-limit hold’em at 5 p.m.. Poker varieties throughout the WCOOP also include Omaha, Badugi, 8-game, and H.O.R.S.E..
