Doctor Offering Botox To Hide Poker Facial TellsThe Huffington Post Talks To NYC Doctor Pitching New Idea |

Although it seems they aren’t as talked about as they once were, facial tells on poker players have caught the eye of one doctor in New York City looking for more business.
The Huffington Post reported Tuesday that a doctor by the name of Jack Berdy recently came out with a concept called “Pokertox” — designed specifically to minimize a possible facial response to a poker hand. Berdy reportedly also offers the option to create false tells.
“We can also put Botox in areas to make it look like the player has a ‘tell’ they really don’t have,” he told The Huffington Post.
Since he came out with the idea, Berdy has not had anyone express interest in Pokertox.
The firm boasts on its website that it has proprietary software that will give anyone the opportunity to “design [their] own treatment.”
It adds that it can provide Botox treatments in just a 30-minute visit.
A doctor not associated with the company, but who also does Boxtox services, told The Huffington Post that Pokertox is a “gimmick” and the situation is “sad.”
