Registration is closed in the 2014 World Poker Tour Bay 101 Shooting Star main event, and the official numbers are in. A record field of 718 entries were made over the two starting days to build a $5,133,700 prize pool, the largest in the event’s eleven-year history.
The top 72 finishers will make the money, with a min-cash being worth $14,430. The eventual champion in this event is set to earn the largest payout the event has ever awarded: $1,256,550.
300 players returned at the start of day 2 on Wednesday, March 12th, with the final table scheduled to play down to a champion on Friday the 14th.
