Nevada’s casino industry won just over $11 billion last year from gamblers, but it was a decline compared to 2013 and the end of four straight years of year-over-year gains, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The state released the information on Friday.

In 2013, Nevada casinos took in $11.14 billion from gambling. This past year, revenue fell by a clip of 1.1 percent. It wasn’t a large amount, and signs do point toward Nevada continuing its climb out of the post-Great Recession blues.

Nevada’s airport recently reported that it had the largest amount of travelers since 2008.

On the Las Vegas Strip, the gambling capital of America, gaming revenue fell 2.1 percent to $6.37 billion. Downtown Las Vegas had a better 2014 than 2013, though. Gaming revenues there grew 2.1 percent in 2014 to $511.4 million.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates and an indepth-look at how well poker performed for Nevada casinos in 2014. Live and online poker in Nevada brought in $123,891,000 during 2013, up from $123,253,000 in 2012. According to research from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, 2013’s poker number represents the first increase year-over-year since 2006 to 2007. The record of $167,975,000 was set in 2007.
