Byron Kaverman Wins 2015 EPT Malta €10,300 High RollerAmerican Poker Pro Captures Fourth Title of the Year |

Fifteen final tables, more than $3 million in live tournament earnings to date this year and now four titles in 2015.
Byron Kaverman is having an incredible year on the live tournament circuit, one that very well could be good enough to secure him the Card Player Player of the Year title if not for the unreal performances of players like Anthony Zinno, Joe Kuether and Nick Petrangelo.
Kaverman’s most recent conquest was the 2015 European Poker Tour Malta €10,300 no-limit hold’em high roller. He topped a field of 210 players to earn €430,800 ($473,880 USD) and 900 Player of the Year points.
With wins earlier in the year in the $10,000 World Series of Poker six-max no-limit hold’em event and two $25,000 high roller events at the Aria, he now has accumulated 5,342 POY points, securing his hold on the number-four spot on the Player of the Year leader board.
Kaverman topped a stacked final table in this event, defeating Mukul Pahuja (2nd – €290,100) heads-up and outlasting Roberto Romanello (6th – €99,620). Bryn Kenney (7th – €72,730) and recent WSOP Europe main event champion Kevin MacPhee (8th – €53,150).
