TV presenter and poker player Michelle Orpe is to be the new face o online poker room and casino Purple Lounge. Orpe, who
has recently been playing European Poker Tour events, is a presenter on Sky Poker and has been appointed by Purple Lounge in response to the explosive growth of interest among women.
The site says it has been seeing incredible growth in its female membership with women flocking to play ladies only events at the site.
Marketing director Julia Wild said, “From our launch just 2 years ago Purple lounge has always been a home to a large community of women players and it’s something we’re extremely proud of.
