Bodog Poker’s World Series of Poker-mirroring series, the Mini-SOP, starts today with a $100+$9 pot-limit hold’em event, which mirrors the first event of the WSOP, the $10,000 World Championship of Pot-Limit Hold’em.
Bodog’s series will feature all 25 hold’em events of this year’s WSOP on the same days as the WSOP events but with 1/100th the buy-in. The $10,000 pot-limit hold’em championship today at the Series, for instance, is represented as a $100 pot-limit hold’em event in the Mini-SOP.
The series will run from today to July 3, the starting day of the WSOP main event. Today’s event starts in about six hours, at 9 p.m. ET.
