European Team Full Tilt Pros Triumph at WSOP

Italian Max Pescatori and German Jens Veortmann Break European Duck for Bracelets at WSOP

Two more Team Full Tilt pros won bracelets at the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas this weekend and, for the first time this Series, they European.

Italian Max Pescatori won his second bracelet, his first coming in 2006, while German Jens Veortmann won his first.Max Pescatori

Pescatori triumphed in the $2,500 pot-limit hold’em/Omaha event collecting $246,471 for his victory while Veortmann won the $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. event lifting $298,253 for his win.

They join Nenad Medic, David Singer, and Erick Lindgren who won three from the first four bracelets on offer at the Series.

Team Full Tilt member Howard Lederer said of Pescatori’s victory, “Winning two bracelets in three years in the modern era of the WSOP puts Max near the top of anyone’s list of the best tournament players.

On Veortmann he said, “By besting a very tough final table in a game that requires all-around skill in many games, Jens arrived on the WSOP stage in smashing fashion”.
