Schwartz, Negreanu, Rousso Join Premier League Line-Up

The PartyPoker.com Premier League IV, being held in Las Vegas from Feb. 12 to 18, has added Luke “FullFlush1” Schwartz, Daniel Negreanu, and Vanessa Rousso to its line-up.

The trio join Phil Hellmuth, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Tony G, Kara Scott, Roland de Wolfe and defending champion J.C. Tran as the identities of the 12 players taking part in the tournament nears completion.

Negreanu said of his inclusion in the prestigious made-for-TV tournament, “I am a bit of a stats geek and I’m a big fan of unique tournaments with point systems. Playing in this event requires a different type of strategy and I thoroughly enjoy trying to figure out what the best approach is, then implementing it, and hoping it works!”

Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport which is filming the tournament said, "It’s taken me a long time to get Daniel into the Premier League but I know it’s going to be worth the wait. He is one of the biggest entertainers in poker and a great player – the perfect criteria for the Premier League. It’s going to be fascinating watching him lock horns with the games greats in the new deep stack structure.”
