More Late EntriesJul 14, '13 The board shows 141 players in today’s Day 1 flight and quite the collection of professionals decided to enter late. Three-time WSOP final tablist this summer Matt Berkey has decided to sit down, and he will look to add to the $471,017 he already managed to win since the start of the WSOP. Right next to Berkey we spotted Dutch pro Paul Berende who flew to Las Vegas last minute. Berende only played the Main Event at the WSOP and this could very well only be his second tournament of the trip. Berende finished runner up earlier this year in WPT Baden for €130,000. One table over we’ve spotted Bryn Kenney who recently cashed in the WSOP Main Event. Kenney also cashed in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship for $147,882 for his 12th place finish. Eugene Katchalov also decided to enter late. The Ukrainian American, who’s in the best shape of his life, made the final table of the $5,000 Pot Limit Hold’em earlier this summer. In total Katchalov has $7.4 in career tournament earnings and that makes him one of the biggest winners in today’s field. Katchalov has a WPT and WSOP victory on his resume but also EPT final tables and a Super High Roller victory at the PCA in 2011.
