Weissman got it all in before the flop with 33 against Quehen’s A7. Weissman’s pocket pair held and he doubled back into the chip lead with about 6.5 million to Quehen’s 5.4 million. On the final hand of the tournament, Joey Weissman opened the button for 240,000 and Jerey Quehen called the big blind. The flop came Q53, Quehen bet 350,000 and Weissman called. The turn was the 7, Quehen bet 800,000 and Wiessman called. The river was the J, Quehen bet 2,000,000, Weissman shoved and Quehen called all in. Quehen was able to narrow the gap a bit at the beginning of the the level, but Weissman pulled back out in front after winning a big showdown with the nut straight. There was a lot of back and forth as level 30 came to an end, but Weissman never managed to give up the lead, despite a few double ups by Quehen on the short stack in Level 31.
