Dave Stann, commonly known has ?Hollywood Dave,? hails from none other than Hollywood, California. Stann is recognizable by his alternative style and flashy presence at both the blackjack and poker tables. Before games of skill, though, his dreams included the stage and the art of acting. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Kent State University with an Honors BFA degree in theatre. Hopes of becoming an actor brought him out to Hollywood.

After discovering that he had knack for card counting at the blackjack tables, Stann spent more and more time traveling between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. In 2004, he came in second in GSN?s World Series of Blackjack tournament, which launched him into a slew of other gambling television ventures. His love of games of skill turned him to poker. Stann has several major tournament cashes and three wins under his belt. His biggest cash came at the 2007 Winnin ?O? the Green tournament series. In a $300 buy-in, he bested a field of 452 players to win nearly $49,000 for first place.
