Daniel Cosmo got all in for about 120,000 against Lawrence Paden Sr. Paden tabled Ah7h and was in bad shape with his A7 against Cosmo’s 99.
The flop was K1010 and Paden picked up more outs with a flush draw and counterfeit outs. He picked up a straight draw on the turn when the Q fell and the J on the river completed his straight to eliminate Cosmo.

John Oneal Bets Big on the River

With three limpers ahead of him, John Oneal checked his option from the big blind. After a flop of J63 Oneal bet 15,000. Matthew Wright folded from under the gun, Lawrence Paden folded from middle position and Antony Vidmer called from the button.
Oneal and Vidmer checked the turn of the 9 and saw the 10 on the river. Oneal fired out a bet of 40,000 and Vidmer folded.

Down to his last 55,000 with the blinds at 40,000-80,000 and a 10,000 ante, Lawrence Paden moved his meager stack to the center from the cutoff.
TK Miles limped for 80,000 from the button, Heng Zhang followed from the small blind and Antony Vidmer checked his option from the big blind.
All three players checked after a 963 flop and again after a jack fell on the turn. The river was a queen and Miles fired out a bet of 100,000. Zhang and Vidmer folded and the hands were tabled. Paden held A7 and was bested by Miles’ Q9.

Antony Vidmer opened to 170,000 from the cutoff and Lawrence Paden shoved for 510,000 from the small blind.
Action rested on Willie Lawrence, down to his last 300,000, in the big blind. After some time, Lawrence called the clock on himself. The floor counted down from 60 to 0 and Lawrence’s hand was declared dead.
Action folded back around to Vidmer and he let go of his cards.
