Big Hands
Talk about a hot deck... Nick Binger won several hands of limit hold'em in the first half hour, then eliminated the first four players from the final table in the first half hour of no-limit play.
No Limit Hold'em:
Binger Busts David Sorger in Ninth Place ($19,956)
A shortstacked David Sorger moved all in for 40,500 preflop and Nick Binger raised to 100,000 total. Everyone else folded and Binger and Sorger were heads up. Sorger showed AJ and was trailing Binger's AK. The board ran 55439 and Binger took the pot, eliminating Sorger in ninth place and taking a commanding chip lead with 982,500.
Binger Unstoppable, Busts Michael Chu in Eight Place ($27,439)
Nick Binger made a raise to 17,000 and was called by Michael Chu in the big blind. On a flop of 1042 Chu checked and Binger bet 32,000. Chu thought and shoved for 145,000 total. Binger made the call and showed 105. Chu showed 88 and was behind. The turn brought the Q and the river was the A and Binger knocked out Chu in eight place.
And Binger KOs Mats Gavatin in Seventh Place ($34,923)
Nick Binger bet 30,000 on a flop of Q77 and was raised by Mats Gavatin to 95,000. Binger thought for a while then moved all in. Gavatin called. Binger showed 76 for trips and Gavatin needed some help with A5 for the nut flush draw. The turn 4 and river Q didn't help Gavatin and he was eliminated in seventh place as Binger continued his reign of terror.
MacHowsky Eliminated by Binger in Sixth Place ($44,903)
David MacHowsky moved all in and was insta-called by... you guessed it, Nick Binger. Binger showed AA and MacHowsky was in tought shape with 33. The flop pretty much ended it for MacHowsky, running AKK. The turn and river bricked and Binger sent MacHowsky from the table in sixth place.
Limit Hold'em:
Binger Takes Control Early
Nick Binger has been hot early, winning several pots in the first level.
Binger bet 10,000 on a flop of J62 and was called by David MacHowsky. Binger checked the 10 turn and Machowsky fired 20,000 into the pot. Binger check-raised to 40,000 and Machowsky calledK
Soon after Binger was involved in another pot when on a flop of Q-J-4 he bet 10,000 and was raised by Jonathan Tamayo. Binger made the call and both players checked the 10 on the turn. Another 10 fell on the river and Binger bet 20,000. Tamayo called but mucked when binger showed 4-4 for a full house. The pot put Binger over 700,000.
