Former World Series of Poker main event champion Peter Eastgate has put his bracelet on the auction site eBay.
Eastgate, who earlier this year said he was quitting poker, won $9,152,416 for his performance in 2008. Eastgate was then the youngest winner in the history of the event.
The starting bid for his championship bracelet is $16,000, and as of around noon PST, there were no bids on the item. 100 percent of the money from the sale will help children via the charity UNICEF.
Here is the description of the bracelet on eBay:
The unique piece of a Corum bracelet weighs 168 [grams] and is made of 18kt White Gold paved with 291 diamonds and the face, which says “World Series of Poker 2008”, is Hand painted in silver and decorated with black and red card suits.
In January of this year, six-time WSOP bracelet winner T.J. Cloutier also had poker memorabilia up for sale on eBay, although the money was not being raised for charity.
