Nonce Paolini, chief executive officer of Eurosportbet.com, has said he would consider an offer for the French-facing betting and poker businesses should one be tabled.
According to AFP, Paolini said, “Eurosportbet results are not ridiculous, mostly regarding poker, but the business is not satisfactory enough. If a takeover bid comes up, we will study it.”
The company has been vocal in condemning the high tax regime in France regulated betting and poker sites and it is thought this may be the primary driver for the media site wishing to exit the online gaming market.
The company launched Eurosportpoker in September 2009 on the Ongame Network.
