UK Poker Player To Face U.S. Trial

Court Orders Marcus Bebb-Jones To U.S. To Face Charges of Murdering His Wife

The London High Court has ruled UK poker player Marcus Bebb-Jones can be sent to the U.S. to faces charges of murdering his wife in 1997.

The court dismissed his appeal against an earlier extradition ruling and Kidderminster-based Bebb-Jones now faces a life sentence or execution if convicted of the alleged murder in the U.S..

Bebb-Jones, who once shot himself in the head in a suicide attempt, owned a hotel with his wife before she went missing. Her skull was eventually found close to a park they had visited on the day she disappeared according to the Kidderminster Shuttle.
