European Masters Of Poker Lisbon Starts Today

Up to 400 Players Expected For €1,100 Buy In Event In Portuguese Capital

The second stop on the European Masters of Poker tour season III gets underway today in Lisbon, Portugal.

The €1,000 + €100 buy-in main event runs from Mar. 23 to 26 at the Casino Estoril with two day ones for the main event and a variety of side events including:

March 23, 9 p.m. — €110 no-limit hold’em super satellite to main event day 1B
March 24, 9 p.m. — €220 no-limit hold’em two day freezeout
March 26, 4 p.m. — €165 no-limit hold’em freezeout

Last year the EMOP Lisbon main event was won by Brit Timothy Timotheau who took down the top prize of €86,680 for his victory over 393 players while Dane Stefan Hansen won stop one of the 2011 tour in Gran Canaria.
