Portuguese Poker Prodigy Dropped From LockPoker

Portuguese online poker prodigy Jose ‘Girah’ Macedo has been dropped as a LockPoker.com pro after being confronted about and admitting to defrauding players in a Skype strategy discussion group.

Jennifer Larson, chief executive office of LockPoker.com said,”All of us at Lock are horrified and incredibly disappointed by Jose’s actions. Within 10 minutes of finding out about the fraudulent behavior his LockPRO contract was terminated and his account was banned permanently.

“Jose’s has defrauded the players, the art of poker and the basic human relationship.”

Macedo, who found fame after winning $1.6 million dollars over 800,000 hands online, conducting the fraud by suggesting players in the strategy discussion group play a specific player, “Sauron1989” while viewing the hole cards of the players involved to assist with strategy discussion.

Unknown to the players, Macedo was sauron1989.

The young Euro pro has apologized and offered to repay the $30,000 he stole plus an additional $30,000 in compensation.
