South Point Casino to Offer Free Online Poker Through Zen Gaming Network

Owner Michael Gaughan Posititioning Himself for Internet Poker

South Point Casino owner Michael Gaughan said his business will soon be launching a free Internet poker site through Las Vegas-based operator Zen Gaming, according to reports by GamingToday.

“This is an experiment for me,” Gaughan said. “I’m just getting my feet wet but I expect that down the line I am going to be applying for an intrastate license.”

Gaughan has always been a supporter of online poker in Nevada, backing the state’s bill since its inception this past March. He has said that there is “no doubt” in his mind that taxed and regulated online poker and other games will be available in the near future.
