Premier League Launches Mixed Game Poker Championship

Mixed Game Champion To Be Found In November

Luke Schwartz is in the running for mixed game championThe PartyPoker Premier League has been extended to include the Premier League Poker Mixed Game Championship, which is set to take place at the Playboy Club London from Nov. 13-17.

Twelve players will be tested in no-limit hold’em, pot-limit hold’em, and pot-limit Omaha. Two groups of six will play three heats and the top three in each group will make the final which will be a mix of the three disciplines and will be determined by points. Each finalist will be guaranteed prize money and the winner will get a place at the Premier League main event.

Each player will get a double up card that they can choose to use in any of their heats to receive double points.

Some of the players who have already signed up for the $25,000 buy-in event are Mike Sexton, Tony G, Sam Trickett, and Luke Schwartz. Sexton said, “I think it’s fantastic that games other than No Limit Hold’em are going to get TV exposure. Poker is more than one game. This is a bold move, but a good one!”
