The Las Vegas Review-Journal is reporting that Fertitta Interactive has applied to participate in an online poker industry in Nevada.
“We support the regulation of online poker,” Lorenzo Fertitta, founder of the company, said in a statement. “Our industry leading software has a track record of complying with the strictest regulations in jurisdictions around the world.”
In October, the online gaming entity established and co-owned by Station Casinos’ founders, announced it had purchased California-based CyberArts, an online gaming software provider.
Nevada is currently moving toward the nation’s first intrastate online poker industry.
In late March, Full Tilt Poker entered into a partnership with Fertitta Interactive. The deal dissolved after the April 15 indictments against the company’s CEO Ray Bitar, and other leaders of the major online poker sites.
