PokerStars has launched Zoom Poker a cash game, speed poker-type variant similar to Full Tilt’s late, lamented Rush Poker.

Players can play up to four tables of poker at a time and, like Rush Poker, are taken straight to another table as soon as they fold their hand. Unlike its predecessor players can hang in at their previous table to see how a hand plays out.

The current release of the game, which went live on Friday, is the beta version, still under test so players have limited game options – four hold’em, and four Omaha and with only two micro stake real money games in each.

The player pool is limited to 1,500.

Friday also saw an announcement from Relax Gaming about its soon-to-be-launched Fast Poker which is being adopted by the likes of Unibet and Betsson.
