PKR has launched a World Series of Poker Fantasy Poker League on Facebook where fans can spend a notional $100 million.
Participants can choose a team of eight players from over 180 of the world’s best and will earn points based on this summer’s 59 bracelet events in Las Vegas.
Players can also create private leagues with friends and the overall winner of the League will win an iPad 3 with chip sets for the runners up.
Dan Grant, community manager at the site, said, “Fantasy sports are all the rage but the poker world is lacking its own established WSOP equivalent. While poker’s biggest stars are making history in Vegas in the coming weeks, we’ll be following their progress even more closely and sharing in their success.
“The Fantasy Poker League is our first Facebook app, and one that we hope thousands of players across the world will enjoy.”
