The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Goliath is set to return to Coventry, England from August 22 to 27 with organizers anticipating a 50 percent increase in numbers to 2,500.
Last year the event set a record for the largest re-entry tournament in Europe with 1,765 players and was won by Lee Rawson.
This year the buy in remains at £100 + £20 and the three day 1 tournament returns to the Ricoh Arena in the midlands city.
The tournament has a £100,000 guaranteed prize pool with £25,000 minimum for the winner. Players will start with 25,000 in chips and play 40 minute levels.
Twenty-five percent of the registration fee (£5) will be donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
