Card Player Poker Tour Choctaw -- Day 4 Results

Four Events Conclude In Deals, $316,679 In Prize Money Awarded

Day 4 of the Card Player Poker Tour Choctaw was the day of the chop, as all four events that ended today came to a close with a deal. Just because deals were made does not mean that there wasn’t big money on the line, however, as a total of $316,679 in prize money was awarded in today’s events. Here is a look at Sunday’s results:

Event 4 — $345 No-Limit Hold’em ($150,000 Guarantee)

Douglas WhitlowThe guarantee smashing continued at the CPPT with event 4, which sported a $150,000 guarantee that was blown away when 779 entered, building a huge $222,015 prizepool.

53 players returned for day 2 of the this massive event, and after roughly seven and a half hours of play, the final eight made a deal and play concluded. Details of the agreement were private, but the chip leader at the point that play ended was Doug Whitlow, and the winner’s trophy was awarded to him.

Event 6 — $235 No-Limit Hold’em ($50,000 Guarantee)

Sueng LeeEvent 6 also beat its guarantee of a $50,000 prizepool, with 324 players entering the event to build a $61,560 prizepool. Like event 4, this one ended in a chop, with the final six making a deal with unknown terms. Sueng Lee was awarded the winner’s trophy.

Keeping with the theme of the night, a deal was made with four remaining, with unknown financial distribution, but the trophy went to Derek Browning, who held the chiplead at the time play ended.

Ryan DalaneyRounding out the foursome of events today was the nightly $125 buy-in no-limit hold’em event, which drew 79 players to build a $7,663 prizepool. This event also ended in a four-handed deal, with Ryan Delaney declared the winner.
