David Benyamine is the new French ambassador for the International Stadiums Poker Tour.

Benyamine joins Sam Trickett, Patrik Atonius, and Liz Lieu in representing the ambitious tournament.

The ISPT said, “David Benyamine made his announce [sic] while the Partouche Poker Tour, he becomes, now, the new French ambassador of ISPT. He just made few results under ISPT colors like his 4th place during the € 3,000 side event of the Partouche Poker Tour and his victory during the €5,000 PLO prelude to WPT Paris 2012.”

The ISPT takes place in London, England from May 31 to June 6, 2013. It will feature an estimated prize pool of €20 million and adopts a unique format where up to 30,000 players will play in Wembley Stadium stands before the final 3,000 will take to the pitch to play live.

It is organised by Bernard and Laurent Tapie whose takeover of Full Tilt Poker was thwarted earlier this year by PokerStars.

The most recent French-organised tournament ended in farce over a protracted argument about whether or not there was a €5 million prize pool guarantee. In the end player power won and the Partouche Group honoured the advertised guarantee but not before saying the event would be the last Partouche Poker Tour ever.
