Boylepoker.com has announced a few features for its upcoming International Poker Open.

First of all, the event’s live updates will be powered by innovative poker tournament information system Evcount. This new system collects and combines all chip counts, bustouts, Tweets, blinds, big hands, news and so on. It also feeds streaming commentary which leads to the next feature.

The event, which runs from Oct. 19 to 21 at The Regency Hotel in Dublin, will see its feature table streamed live. The final table will follow on Nov. 10 when it will be also streamed live, by Winmedia.

Iain Cheyne from Evcount said, “We are very excited to have Evcount deliver up to the minute results, bust outs and news directly into peoples homes, faster and smarter then before. The IPO, considered to be one of the few large scale tournaments in Europe, will be a real test of the system with 1,400 runners.

“Evcount will deliver what every viewer wants – up to the minute information about their friends, relatives and club mates while they tackle this huge field."

There are plenty of ways to qualify for the popular event with satellites running every night at 8 p.m..

Dutchman Luke Martens took the €51,350 top prize home last year when he bested a field of 1,388.
