Ladbrokes Poker Revenue Drops 26 Percent

Poor Performance Of Online Poker Shows No Signs Of Abating At Plc

Online poker revenue at Ladbrokes slumped 25.7 percent in the third quarter of 2012.

The company decline to say how much poker contributed to its business in the third quarter but the fall comes on the back of a drop of 24.3 percent in the first half of 2012 to £5.6 million and a 25 percent decline in full year 2011.

The company has struggled with its digital strategy but overall digital revenue was up 6.1 percent in the third quarter with online sportsbook up 21.8 percent, casino and games ahead by 1.1 percent and bingo down 6.1 percent.
