The $400 million Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati opens Monday night at 8:30 p.m. local time and will be the fourth casino to open in the state of Ohio.

The two-story property is a joint venture between Caesars Entertainment and Rock Gaming and is expected to create 1,700 permanent jobs. Approximately one quarter of the 400,000 square-foot building will be designated as gaming space, including a 31-table poker room.

Casinos already have debuted in Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo, after state voters approved the gambling joints in 2009. The new Ohio casinos are expected to take gambling revenues away from neighboring states, but provide much-desired tax money to the Buckeye State.
