Card Player Poker Tour Kicks Off At The Bike Casino In Los AngelesFirst Of Three Starting Days In Main Event Begins Friday |

On Thursday, the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles kicks off their Card Player Poker Tour stop with a $125 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament with rebuys and a $30,000 guarantee.
The action really picks up with the $1,100 deepstack no-limit hold’em main event on Friday, which boasts a $300,000 guarantee with at least $100,000 going to the winner. The main event will feature three starting days and there will be a total of six $150 mega satellites running on the property that will feed into the main event.
Day 1a will start on May 24th at 1 p.m. with 30,000 starting tournament chips and 60 minute levels. Play will last 12 hours (plus 30-minute dinner break). Day 1b (May 25th) and day 1c (May 26th) will be identical to day 1a. Registration will close before level 5.
The main event is a re-entry tournament. If any player is eliminated from day 1a, the player may re-enter day 1b or 1c. Any player eliminated day 1b, may re-enter day 1c.
If a player makes it through play from more than one day, they will play their largest chip stack. The other stacks will be removed from play.
Day 2 will be on Monday, May 27th at 1 p.m. and the field will play down to 36 players. Day 3 will resume on Tuesday May 28th at 1 p.m. when the field will play down to 9 or 6 players for the final table.
The final table will take place on Wednesday May 29th at 1pm streamed on www.liveatthebike.com and on the Card Player homepage. The winner will be featured in Card Player magazine.
There will be a total of eight different side events at this stop on the CPPT with buy-ins ranging from $120 to $235. Check out the full schedule below.
