The Card Player Poker Tour has pulled into Durant, Oklahoma at the Choctaw Casino for a 54-event series that kicked off July 18. The series concludes with a $1,500+$120 no-limit hold’em main event that begins on Aug. 1 and features a $500,000 guarantee.
Most of the preliminary events have already taken place, shattering their respective guarantees with big fields and even bigger prizes. In addition to no-limit hold’em, the series also offers Omaha eight-or-better, pot-limit Omaha and H.O.R.S.E. tournaments.

The Choctaw Casino Resort has over 4,000 slot machines along with an assortment of table games and an exclusive poker room. It is the closest casino resort to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
The Choctaw Grand Tower has 330 AAA Four Diamond rooms and an additional 160 well-appointed rooms in the Choctaw Inn and Lodge. The poker room is located on its own floor with 30 tables, private staff and services.
