FLORIDA
- The 2013 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (Aug 08, ‘13 – Aug 29, ’13) The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, FL kicks off it’s 33-event series later this week, with the opening weekend’s marquee event being a four-day $350 no-limit hold’em event that begins on August 8th. The main attraction of the entire affair is undeniably the $10,000,000 guaranteed prizepool $5,300 no-limit hold’em championship event, which gets underway on August 22nd.
NORTHEAST
- The 2013 Parx Casino Big Stax III (Aug 01, ‘13 – Aug 19, ’13) The Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA continues with it’s 10-event series of tournaments this week, with the highlight being a $150,000 guaranteed $550 no-limit hold’em event that kicks off on August 8th and features three starting days.
- The 2013 WSOP Circuit Foxwoods (Aug 08, ‘13 – Aug 19, ’13) The Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT also gets it’s late summer tournament series underway this week as the World Series of Poker Circuit pulls into town for the first stop of it’s new season. The highlight of the early going is a $1,125 no-limit hold’em event that begins at 11:00 on August 9th.
- The 2013 Pittsburg Poker Open (Aug 08, ‘13 – Aug 19, ’13) The Rivers Casino in Pittsburg, PA kicks off a 29-event series of it’s own this weekend, with the early highlight being a $550 no-limit hold’em event that begins on August 10th at noon.
CALIFORNIA
- The 2013 WPT Legends of Poker (Jul 28, ‘13 – Sep 04, ’13) The World Poker Tour has also returned to the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, CA for it’s 30-event Legends of Poker series. The highlight this week is a $1,000,000 guaranteed $160 buy-in no-limit hold’em event that features 22 starting flights, two each day starting at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM from August 2nd through August 12th.
MIDWEST
- The 2013 Hollywood Summer Poker Open (Aug 01, ‘13 – Aug 11, ’13) The Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, IN kicked off a 22-event series late last week. The highlight of the coming days is a $345 no-limit hold’em event with $100 bounties that begins on August 7th at 11:15 AM.
- The 2013 Heartland Poker Tour Indiana (Aug 09, ‘13 – Aug 19, ’13) The Majestic Star Casino in Gary, IN is set to host a 9-event series in conjunction with the Heartland Poker Tour starting later this week, with the kickoff event being a $360 no-limit hold’em event beginning on August 9th.
SOUTHWEST
- The 2013 Arizona State Poker Championship (Aug 09, ‘13 – Aug 13, ’13) The Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, AZ will host it’s five-day $1,080 no-limit hold’em championship event with the first of three starting days on August 9th at 9:00 AM.
