Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Underway$10 Million Guarantee Main Event Begins Later This Month |

A massive $10 million guaranteed poker tournament will begin soon in Florida. The event will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.
The tournament series which this event is a part of began Thursday, August 8, with a $350 no-limit hold’em Deep Stack, which guaranteed a $500,000 prize pool. Event No. 6 on Aug. 12 is a $125 no-limit hold’em Deep Stack with a minimum prize pool of $150,000.
A total of 33 events make up the entire series.
The tournament series is called the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open, and the main event will run Aug. 22-29. The tournament is $5,300 to enter. Players will start with 30,000 in tournament chips and can re-enter into any of the three starting flights.
The Seminole Hard Rock will need to attract about 2,000 players in order to meet the guarantee. A massive amount of about $1.7 million should go to the winner.
Satellite events will be taking place at five other Seminole Gaming properties: the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Casino Brighton and Seminole Casino Immokalee.
Buy-ins for the qualifiers start at just $115.
