Coming off the $10 million guarantee Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open being held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida Aug. 22-29, bestbet Jacksonville will offer players from that tournament an incentive to come north. Players who present a receipt from the $5,300 championship event will receive entry into a special $10,000 no-limit hold’em freeroll tournament Aug. 28 at 3 pm. The receipt must match the player’s ID and only one free entry per player is allowed. Players who did not play in the SHRPO guarantee can buy into the tournament for just $150.
Additionally, players who chose to enter into Day 1a of event no. 1: $350 no-limit hold’em $100,000 guarantee and Day 1a of the $1,500 no-limit hold’em $300,000 guarantee main event will reap the rewards being offered by bestbet for playing early.
All Day 1a participants will be entered into a raffle drum and when registration comes to a close. 10 percent of the field will be chosen to spin the bestbet Prize Wheel. Prizes from the wheel include bestbet swag, cash and seats into CPPT satellites and main event entries.
“Day 1a of any multi-day event is always the least attended,” said Jesse Hollander, Associate Director of Poker at bestbet Jacksonville. “People always go for the last day so we have a promotion to encourage people to play day 1a. We will have a drawing for one of every ten people in the field.”
Players are only allowed one spin per entry in each event, however, additional raffle tickets can be earned for every re-entry. The wheel must make at least one complete spin to qualify.
