Diana Cox Joins Card Player Media as Director of Card Player Poker Tour

Diana Cox has joined Card Player Media as the Director of the Card Player Poker Tour, a nationwide tour entering its second season.

Cox joins Card Player with just over five years of experience in the poker industry which began at the 2008 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. A former freelance journalist and video hostess, her experience includes stints with some of the largest companies in poker including Bluff Media and the World Poker Tour in addition to several major casinos across the United States.

She most recently served as the video hostess for the inaugural Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open $10 million guarantee in Hollywood, Florida.

Born and raised just outside of Portland, Oregon, Cox attended Oregon State University and studied journalism at Portland Community College and the College of Southern Nevada. Her background also includes a two-year run as the sports, recreation and business editor at the Molalla Pioneeer newspaper near her home town as well as writing for newspapers in the Las Vegas area.

As the Director of the Card Player Poker Tour, Cox is looking forward to growing the tour and making each stop a major destination among the traveling tournament circuit.
