Card Player Poker Tour Foxwoods Schedule Announced For February

The CPPT Foxwoods Schedule Features a $1,650 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event

Foxwoods Resort CasinoThe Card Player Poker Tour will head to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut for an 11-tournament series Feb. 8-17, 2014.

The schedule includes a mega-stack semi-turbo no-limit hold’em, Omaha eight-or-better and H.O.R.S.E. tournaments and will peak with a $1,650 no-limit hold’em main event Feb. 14-17.

Many of the tournaments will feature guarantees, said Juan De Jesus, Foxwoods Poker Tournament Director, however the approval process is still underway and exact numbers will be released shortly.

Foxwoods Resort Casino is located on the Mashantucket Pequot Indian Reservation and its six-casino complex covers an area of 4,700,000 square feet. The casinos feature more than 380 gaming tables for blackjack, craps, roulette and poker and are home to more than 6,300 slot machines.

Restaurants on site offer an array of dining options from the Hard Rock Café to Cedars Steak House, Red Lantern Asian restaurant and Al Dente Italian restaurant along with casual dining places, grab-and-go options and the Festival Buffet. The property boasts 2,266 hotel rooms, a two-story arcade, two golf courses, a comedy club and a 35,000 square foot bowling alley, making it the second largest casino in the United States.

Prior to Foxwoods, the CPPT will make a stop at Palm Beach Kennel Club in West Palm Beach, Florida Dec. 5-16. Following the Connecticut stop, the CPPT will then go west to Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada March 21-30.
