Players in the Reno, Nevada area will have a chance to earn their share of big tournament payouts in late March when the Card Player Poker Tour makes its stop at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa.
The luxury hotel and casino will host a 20-tournament series Mar. 21-30 with satellites beginning on Mar. 20. The highlight of the series will be the $1,100 no-limit hold’em $125,000 guarantee main event, a three-day tournament which will begin Mar. 28.
Players looking for variations on no-limit hold’em tournaments will have plenty of options to chose from as the schedule includes survivor, bounty and mega-stack tournaments. In addition, players can test their skills in non-no-limit hold’em tournaments like limit hold’em and Omaha eight-or-better events.
Aside from the main event, two other tournaments will offer guaranteed prize pools such as a $340 no-limit hold’em with a $50,000 guarantee and a $550 no-limit hold’em with a $40,000 guarantee.
Satellites for as low at $40+$5 and up to $100+$20 will be offered for the main event and the $340 and $550 no-limit hold’em tournaments.

It will be the CPPT’s second stop at Atlantis. In March of 2013, John Miner earned a $45,153 pay-day when he won the $1,080 no-limit hold’em main event.
