Oklahoma police resorted to using an undercover officer to bust a poker game with a pot of around $500, according to NewsOn6.com.

The game, which was held at a Tulsa bar, reportedly was shut down and its two organizers were arrested Wednesday. Pete Manzanares and Julie Jones were both booked into Tulsa County jail.

Both eventually paid their $1,000 bonds and were released.

The illegality of the game reportedly stemmed from the fact that at first their was no entry fee, but eventually “dealers started asking players to pay for chips to stay in the game.”

What is even more astounding about the whole case is that the bar owner could still face charges and possibly lose his liquor license, and the 47 players could face arrest.

The cops confiscated about $500 in “gambling proceeds” from the game.

The state of Oklahoma does not have commercial casinos.
