With the 2014 World Series of Poker starting in less than three months, British poker pro Sam Trickett has signed a new endorsement deal with an online poker site. He will serve as ambassador for Everest Poker, which is owned by Betclic Everest Group. The Betclic Everest Group operate the Betclic, Everest, Expekt, Imperial and Monte Carlo Casino brands.

Trickett is known for being a high-stakes cash game grinder, but he also has $19,855,960 in career tournament earnings. He finished second in the 2012 “One Drop” $1 million buy-in at the WSOP for more than $10 million. That event will make a return this summer.

“I’m very excited to be joining Everest Poker," Trickett said in a statement. "I’m looking forward to interacting with our players online and at Everest Poker Live events, where I’ll be playing and coaching. Everest is a great poker brand and I will be doing everything I can to make it one of the most recognized in the world.” He’ll also be writing blogs.

The online poker site is based out of London.

Just this past fall, Trickett was given his very own poker room at a card room in Nottingham. He’s the most successful Brit ever, in terms of poker tournament earnings.

Trickett had previous sponsorship deals with Matchbook.com and Titan Poker.
