More Full Tilt Poker Money Released To VictimsAnother $5 Million Into The Hands Of Former Players |

Another round of remission for victims of the old Full Tilt Poker went out on Tuesday, the group hired to help facilitate the massive process said.
Garden City Group announced on its website that an additional $5 million of missing funds entered the hands of 2,200 players, collectively. Both figures are approximate.
To date, around 30,000 poker players have been repaid around $81 million. In February, $76 million of player money was released, $1 million of which belonged to a single player.
In the initial collection of the financial data, more than a million potential victims were identified. Around $159 million in player money was owed. The site, under control by Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Rafe Furst and Ray Bitar, was once alleged to be a Ponzi scheme. All but Bitar settled without admitting to any wrongdoing in the matter.
The Poker Players Alliance, which worked hard to make sure the government realized that players should be paid what was in their respective accounts, as opposed to what they had deposited over the years, will continue to push for all player money to be returned.
“We aren’t out of the woods yet,” John Pappas, Executive Director for the Poker Players Alliance recently told Card Player. "We are going to continue to make sure that every dollar is returned.”
