The past seven days at the high-stakes tables on Full Tilt Poker were a bit slow, but that doesn’t mean that some of the game’s best took the week off from moving money around.
A number of top pros had solid weeks. Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius ($284,000), Ronny “ronnyr37617” Kaiser ($260,000), Viktor “Isildur1” Blom ($212,000) Phil “Polarizing” Ivey ($173,000) were all in the black.
On the flipside, Niki Jedlicka (-$169,900) and Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene (-$126,000) were in the red. All this data is according to HighstakesDB.
Antonius is the top earner on the year (among those who are tracked) with $1.26 million in winnings. A lot of the top pros have opted out of having their long-term results tracked. So while it is possible to know how much Tollerene, for example, earned over a short time span, we don’t know how much he’s up on 2014. It’s probably well over $1 million, though.
On Thursday, one of the largest pots of the year went down, and it just so happened that the player who won it ended up benefiting from a cooler.
The hand, which occurred at $400-$800 no-limit hold’em shorthanded on Full Tilt Poker, pitted Macau high-stakes player MalACEsia against unknown CaII_911.
Action began with CaII_911 raising to $2,400 from under the gun, and it was folded around to MalACEsia in the small blind. He elected to make it $8,000. The big blind folded and CaII_911 decided to make the call. Both players saw a Q

MalACEsia bet $12,400 and CaII_911 made the call.
The turn brought the 8, and MalACEsia checked. CaII_911 bet $29,000, and MalACEsia check-raised all-in for around $102,000. CaII_911 only had around $67,000 left, and he decided to put it in there. The cards were tabled.
