One of the most exciting stops on this year’s CPPT is scheduled for September 2014 aboard the Allure of the Seas, one of the world’s largest cruise ships. Card Player Cruises, the premier poker cruise company, will host the seven-tournament series set against the backdrop of the Western Caribbean September 7-14. The tournament will be highlighted by a $1,000 no-limit hold’em main event.

Last year the tour took to the Oasis of the Seas in the Caribbean for a five-tournament series and Fred Samelian walked away with $13,200 from his $1,000 no-limit hold’em main event win.

Hollywood Park Casino
Inglewood, California
October 17-26

A brand new stop has been added to the CPPT. The inaugural stop at Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, California will take place October 17-26 and feature a $340 no-limit hold’em $100,000 guarantee main event.

Hollywood Park Casino combines the action and excitement of the most popular live casino card games with the thrill of simulcast thoroughbred wagering. Located just five minutes from Los Angeles International Airport, with thousands of hotel rooms nearby, Hollywood Park Casino is the closest casino to Los Angeles’ Westside.

The Bicycle Casino
Bell Gardens, California
September 21-October 15

One of the largest poker rooms in the world with 175 poker tables and more than 100,000 square feet of floor space, the Bike is located about 10 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.

The final stop of Season II will take place at the popular California room September 21 through October 15.

Like Choctaw and Card Player Cruises, this will be the tour’s second stop at the Bike. In late May to early June of 2013 the casino hosted a 10-tournament series ending with a $1,000 no-limit hold’em $300,000 guarantee main event, which was won by Thomas Beckstead. Beckstead earned just over $102,000 and 600 POY points for his win.

The poker room at the Bike is surrounded by HD televisions and guests are seated in comfortable chairs within a spacious, elegant, smoke-free atmosphere. Though the casino is without a hotel, there are a wide variety of accommodations available nearby.
