High-stakes online poker pro Viktor “Isildur1” Blom has had a terrible month of May on the virtual felt, dropping more than $1.3 million, according to HighstakesDB.
His losses have put him $2 million into the hole on the year. He was up more than $2 million back in early February. So, the swings (a $4 million downswing) have been vicious.
The latest action for Blom has come at pot-limit Omaha and the eight-game mix.
Other big losers on the month include Gus Hansen ($945,000), MalACEsia ($603,000) and Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond ($215,000). Galfond recently took a break from the online action to play some WSOP events in Las Vegas. The other day, Card Player TV had the chance to speak with him during a break in the $25,000 buy-in tournament.
Hansen was nearing $19 million in lifetime losses last week, but had a decent past week or so to put him back to around $18.4 million in the hole.
Big winners online in May include punting-peddler ($773,000), Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau ($573,000), Osama_no_Brunch ($467,000) and Dan “jungleman12” Cates ($243,000).
Some of the top pros, such as Ben Tollerene and Niklas Heinecker, have opted out of having their long-term results tracked, so we don’t know for sure who is up the most or who is down the most during the month of May.
