For the first time ever, the Card Player Poker Tour will make a stop at Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, California. The casino is under new management and has undergone significant upgrades and improvements. What will be the tenth stop of Season II will take place from October 17-26 and will feature a $1,100 no-limit hold’em main event beginning October 24.
Hollywood Park Casino combines the action and excitement of the most popular live casino card games with the thrill of simulcast thoroughbred wagering. Located just five minutes from Los Angeles International Airport, with thousands of hotel rooms nearby, Hollywood Park Casino is the closest casino to Los Angeles’ Westside.
Before the action begins at Hollywood Park, the CPPT will make three additional stops throughout the United States.
The seventh stop of Season II will take place at Choctaw Casino Resort with an impressive 81-tournament series July 17 through August 3. The series, which offers $1,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools, will begin with a $300 no-limit hold’em $50,000 guarantee July 17 and will also feature a $100 no-limit hold’em $100,000 guarantee beginning July 18. The series will be capped off by a $1,500 no-limit hold’em $500,000 guarantee main event, which is sure to award one of the largest paydays of Season II to the eventual winner.
Following Choctaw will be one of the most exciting stops of the year, a seven-night western Caribbean Cruise aboard the Allure of the Seas, one of the world’s largest cruise ships. Card Player Cruises, the premier poker cruise company, will host the seven-tournament series set against the backdrop of the Western Caribbean September 7-14. The tournament will be highlighted by a $1,000 no-limit hold’em main event.
Just before Hollywood Park, the CPPT will stop at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California, one of the largest poker rooms in the world with 175 poker tables and more than 100,000 square feet of floor space, September 20 through October 14.
