More people would call activities such as cheerleading, fishing, chess and competitive eating a “sport” than would give the label to the game of poker, according to a Deadspin report.

Deadspin stated that the results are thanks to Reddit user “e8odie,” who had self-selected members of three different subreddits to answer “yes” or “no” to whether they considered 53 different “fringe” activities as sports.
A total of 460 people responded and poker was dead last.
